Senior Portraits for Class of 2018

All seniors must have both a formal and a casual portrait made by Lifetouch to be included in the yearbook.

If you need to change your time, call Lifetouch at 423-892-1332.
Call Lifetouch by November 30th to select your formal and casual poses for the yearbook . If you do not select by the deadline, poses will be selected for you. Call 1-800-736-4775
Seniors: All seniors must have a formal and a casual photo taken by Lifetouch to be in the yearbook. There is a sitting fee to have the yearbook shots taken. The last chance to have a photo made at school will be Thursday, October 27th. If you need an appointment time, see Mrs. Anderson. If you need to go to the studio to have a portrait taken, call Lifetouch in 423-892-1332.
Seniors must call Lifetouch to select one casual and one formal pose for the yearbook. Call either 1-800-736-4775 or 1-423-892-1332.

Senior year is an exciting but busy time. To try to make your year go smoothly, please keep the following deadlines and photo dates in mind. You will be having a monthly senior meeting as needed to discuss any new business and to make you aware of things that come up during the year. Pay attention to morning announcements as they often include information for seniors. There is also a section on the school website (iderschool.weebly.com) that has information for seniors.
Senior Portraits -- Seniors must have a formal and a casual portrait made by Prestige Portraits by Lifetouch in order to be included in the yearbook. If you did not keep your appointment at the school in July, you must contact Lifetouch to set up a studio appointment.
(423) 892-1332. You should have your senior portraits photographed by October 31st. Lifetouch will make limited photos at school on October 27th. This will be not be a full senior photo session.
ACT -- Remember some colleges have early deadlines for applications and scholarships. If you want to retake your ACT, you need to test at one of the early testing dates.

School and Library Fees -- If you owe a fee to the school, please pay Mrs. Frazier as soon as possible. If you owe a library fee or lost a library book, see Mrs. Thomas.You will not be allowed to graduate until all fees are paid.
Senior Ads -- Senior ads will be sold from September until March. Senior ads may be purchased and created online at balfour.com. Each senior should receive a flyer with directions.

Scholarships -- Listen to morning announcements, check the board outside Ms. Byrum’s office, and check Ms. Byrum’s website for scholarship deadlines. Update your resume (check in your Google Docs account) to use for scholarship applications. If you receive a scholarship or special award, please tell Ms. Byrum so you can be recognized at Senior Night.
Fall Pictures -- Fall pictures will be made September 21st with a make up day on October 27th. Please have a fall photo taken even though you will have the senior portrait in the yearbook. The school day photos are used with our computer systems for your transcript and for your lunch account.
2017 Yearbooks -- Yearbooks will be sold at school in October and in February. Yearbooks are $50 or $55 with a name on the cover. You may also order your yearbook online from October through March at balfour.com.
Baby Pictures -- Please bring one baby picture to Mrs. Anderson by September 30th. Remember, all photos must be suitable for publication in the yearbook.
Spring Pictures -- Spring pictures will be made March 14th. These photos are optional for seniors.
Graduation Fees -- $70 -- should be paid by February -- see Coach Gardner
Graduation Attire -- Guys -- black dress pants, white shirt, dark tie, black or dark brown dress
shoes (no sandals or athletic shoes)
Girls -- dark dress or skirt, black dress heels -- no sandals, flats, or
slippers (You may want to purchase these during the winter since
black shoes are hard to find in the warmer months. Wedge heels
work best on the football field.)
Girls, make sure you have sewn the white collar into your gown
BEFORE cap and gown picture day. The sticky tabs included in the
package will not hold it.
Cap and Gown Pictures -- Cap and gown photos will be made April 4th. You should be prepared to wear the same attire you will wear for graduation.
Prom -- Prom will be April 29th. If you did not fund raise or pay to attend prom your junior year, you must pay $200 to attend as a senior. See Mrs. Stanford for more information or to pay your fee.
Senior DVD -- There will be a DVD of senior events from throughout the year available. Mrs. Freeman will take orders for the Senior DVD in May.
